We will get the opportunity to photograph many different aspects of nature today. Its spring in the Ozarks so we will be focusing on the little things- flowers, plants, mushrooms, insects- as well as some bigger things like waterfalls, trees, and the landscape as a whole.
We will begin our day leaving from Farmer’s Park at 8am. We will drive 2.5hrs to the Botanical Gardens of the Ozarks in Fayetteville, Arkansas. BGO is home to 12 themed gardens and the region’s only butterfly house. Here we will learn about camera settings, lighting, and composition basics. We will spend about an hour and a half at the gardens taking pictures and exploring.
After our visit to the gardens, we will drive about 20 minutes to Tontitown Winery for coffee/snacks/lunch. We will also look at our pictures from the Gardens and ask any questions that you may have.
After lunch we will continue on to the Tanyard Loop just outside of Bella Vista. This is a 2.2 mile loop that features a waterfall, creek, and beautiful wildflowers in the spring! We will stop along the hike to take pictures and practice with what we learned about this morning. After we complete the hike, we’ll drive back to Springfield after an adventurous day exploring & photographing the Ozarks!
