Today is the perfect family outing. We will visit one of our favorite places in the Ozarks. We will start our day at Alum Cove and then visit Mystic Caverns. You will not be disappointed about this amazing trip.

Today we will visit one of our favorite places in the Ozarks. We will start our day at Alum Cove. This area is most known for the incredible natural bridge that spans over 130’. This easy hike will allow us to see it from above and then climb down under the natural bridge where we will see small waterfalls coming down every side of the feature. This 1.5 mile hike is also filled with caves of all shapes and sizes. We will take our time to explore the entire area and dip into these caves to see what they have to offer! After the hike, we will head to our next location: Mystic Caverns. This caves were originally called Mansion Cave due to its large calcite formations. One of the most amazing formations in the cave is called the “Pipe Organ” and it stands 30’ tall and 12’ thick. After this spectacular tour into Ozarks underground life, we will head back home.
