Event Details

LUNAFEST is a festival of short films by, for and about women.

You'll laugh. You'll cry. You'll support Ozarks Area Community Action Corporation, providing services which have empowered people and enriched communities for more than 50 years. OACAC is pleased to present the 2nd Annual LUNAFEST festival in Springfield on Saturday, June 2 at the Springfield Art Museum. Join us for a lovely afternoon of films, food, and friends, beginning at 3pm.

Following the screening of LUNAFEST, we are pleased to have Joy Millana join guests for an open discussion of the films. Millana is an accomplished producer and director of commercials, shorts, and feature films. She just completed her second year as a tenured-track assistant professor of digital film and production at Missouri State University, and is a recipient of a Faculty Research Grant, in which she in preproduction for her next short titled, It’s Time.
