This trip will be a long hike at the gorgeous Bennett Spring State Park. The highlight of our trip will no doubt be seeing the 296’ long Natural Tunnel. This trail showcases what Missouri hiking is known for; diversity. After the time on the trail, we will head to Boat Town Brewing to end our day with some craft beer tasting.

The highlight of our trip will no doubt be seeing the 296’ long Natural Tunnel within Bennett Spring State Park. While this feature is what we are going for, the experience along the way is almost as stunning. This trail showcases what Missouri hiking is known for; diversity. We could see an abundance of wildlife including, deer and birds as well as diversity in the scenery. We will pass through bottomlands and be on top of tall bluffs, as well as traversing near creeks and passing through sunny fields. This longer day hike, covering near 8 miles, will allow us to be on the trail for a long time and go slow and steady while taking in all the views.

After the hike we will head over to a gem of a brewery, Boat Town Brewing. This place truly is a destination, featuring all sorts of craft brews, awesome local spirits and an amazing atmosphere. You may have to opt for a second lunch or snack as this place because their smoked meats and finger foods are to die for! Relax and talk over the days achievements as we drive you back to Springfield!
