“A Golden Evening” is a fundraising event and celebration of Girl Scouts’ Highest Awards.
This award has been called by many different names through the years, Golden Eagle of Merit, Golden Eaglet, Curved Bar, First Class and today, the Girl Scout Gold Award. No matter the name of the award, the significance and prestige of earning it remains the same. By the time a recipient of the Girl Scout Gold Award puts the final touches on her seven-step project, she will have solved a community problem—not only in the short term, but for years into the future—and she will be eligible for college scholarships.
Join us on June 1, 2018 at 425 Downtown Events & Catering for cocktails at 6:00 p.m. Dinner and a program begin at 7:00 p.m. with our keynote speaker, Colonel Sandra Karsten, Superintendent Missouri State Highway Patrol.
